The Urban Unit has established an information Center, “Urban Unit Learning Resource Centre”(LRC) , in 2007 a place where learning is made simple, with easy access to information and a choice of ways to learn...through books, digital library & audio/ videos collections. The LRC is playing a vital role in the capacity development of a range of stakeholders to meet urban areas needs. The services procedure of the LRC is helping individuals, groups, organizations and departments to develop, enhance and organize their systems, resources and knowledge—all reflected in their abilities (individually and collectively) to perform functions, solve problems and set and achieve objectives. LRC is a forum which is providing an opportunity to cope with the urban challenge through research and information sharing. The environment and commitment of the management is greatly supporting for new arena of research with best use of technology and highly professional manner. The LRC is contributing in the future of the cities with the aim;
